So I just watched Imaginaerum the moviie by Nightwish. Thanks to the lovely SweetLittleVampire for sending me the link, so I could watch it on the net. First off it wasn't quite what I had expected. But that does not mean I did not like it or enjoy it. Actually I did enjoy it quite a lot. Though it may not have been what I imagined it would be like in my head. It was still a very thought provoking film. One that can touch us all. I appreciate the concept of it. There is no greater fear, than to forget one's self and to die alone. That desperate need for connection and to love. To be loved in return.

Being a musical person, I grasp the importance that music is to life. Music is emotion in sound. It is memories and dreams. The music from the album already spoke to my soul, but the message in the film struck my heart. As the title of the film and the album represent imagination. I will say you have to have that in order to understand this film. Without it the movie is just an obscure piece of art. Using ones imagination, unlocks a world of fear, hope and magic.

I do recommend it. However if you have any sort of triggers that involve; Clowns, Blood or Suicide, you may want to refrain watching it. it is a dark film, but with all things that are dark, there is also light. It's not a happy tale, but it is a beautiful tale. A lesson about life, forgiveness and having no regrets.

Well, I've been trying to whore out Nightwish to you since we first met, lol! I'm so glad you've gotten into them.
